the way this works -- because open/shared network -- is that technically ppl can still create replies, but the app's server doesn't show the "invalid" ones a quirk of how backend did that still shows the reply count for those invalid ones (kind of a common quirk for us right now)

The only reason I haven’t is that the official bsky app has to use a 3rd party library + a 3.6k line patch file for that library

it's kinda stupid how Prisma ships this giant Rust binary for the query generator. I feel like 90% of uses could be statically analysed at build time
