Quite funny that they doxxed Beff Jezos and he’s incredibly well credentialed. Probably not what they were hoping for lmao

Feel like there’s a missing product for doing App Store screenshots for react native apps. Hooks into the simulators, makes sure the output conforms with the different guidelines, etc. there’s a million web based ones but they’re all terrible

You could go even future and use an e2e testing framework to automate it

Idk what tech I would build that with though. I hate the default SwiftUI macOS look, it’s so bland. Maybe Tauri?

just occured to me there's nothing stopping you from thanking DARPA in any old project

Samuel@samuel.fm· 1 Dec 2023

ok it says "thank you DARPA" in the website footer, im on board. goes hard

I can thoroughly recommend making your own programming language

$func fib_2(a: int, b: int, max: int) { print(str(a)) if (b <= max) { let sum = a + b fib_2(b, sum, max) } } func fib(max: int) { fib_2(0, 1, max) } func pow(num: int, to: int): int { if (to > 0) { return num * pow(num, to - 1) } else { return 1 } }$

func main() {
let chan = make() :: channel string
spawn(server, chan)
spawn(client, chan, "hello")
spawn(client, chan, "world")
}

func server(chan: channel string) {
let message: string = recv(chan)
print(message)
server(chan)
}

func client(chan: channel string, message: string) {
send(chan, message)
}

I do love the syntax. its just "what if we took erlang, and made it look a bit like javascript"

Samuel1 Dec 2023

my goal this year: do each day in a different programming language day 1: Python!

directory called day1 with input.txt and main.py inside

ok so I'm familiar enough with python, javascript, java, haskell, go, rust, erlang, swift, php, ocaml (ish). I could probably figure out C/C++. what else could I use?
