that looks great. I might put that health status in the feed view up in a corner as a smaller element unless it's unhealthy

yeah good point! will do btw, all the non- @bsky.team algos fail their health checks - is that a known issue or am I doing something wrong?

I mean, does the official app throw an error looking at those feeds? Because I took "heavy inspiration" from the health check in the official app there but had to disable it because they were all failing

it shows as an error yeah, which isnt ideal. we need to tune the check's tolerances and also make the failed check less intense

yeah if the feed is loading, it should probably just have something akind to a little orange banner at the top ("this feed may have degraded service" or smth)

Really nice, modern looking client though. These are really cool improvements :^)

Is just having a button with no writing too vague? So instead of "add new feed from url" it is just a little + in a square for example.

Yeah I don’t like that part. Need to shove it in a corner probably since I don’t think it’ll be used much

pattern
Could always have an «Edit» toggle on the top that exposes the buttons to edit/add/delete feeds and otherwise have it hidden to take less space

I feel like it should probably be easier to add new feeds. I think that fits into the philosophy of constant expansion within social media, you're always opening new connections and so you don't want to hide that behind another menu.

Can't think what else you could show when pressing it, other than duplicated the previous page

pattern
Oh I should’ve looked more closely :P Tie the «add feed» into the edit toggle you already have
