I could believe that based on the tech they've jammed into there but seems insanely high. When was the last time a mass-market consumer tech product was that expensive?

It’s clearly marketed as “Pro” so it’s obvious they don’t aim this to be used mass market. Seems like this version will mainly be used for work, with thinner, lighter, and more ergonomic variations coming in the next 3-5 years for everyday consumers.

$3499. Disappointing. They're not thinking it's a consumer device yet then. I guess it's right there in the Pro name.
