regarding home feed preference - how about optionally being able to set a feed as your "main" and if so, you get an extra tab in the bottom bar? Should there always be a main feed that defaults to the following feed, like the official app?

I kinda like having the "home page" of the app being the feeds screen rather than the timeline, on the official app I rarely use feeds other than first two or three in the top tabs. However I get that it's annoying to have to select a feed every time

This would work for me - my typical behavior is usually to check my “main” feed first (for me, Home+) and then scan some of the other feeds. Having a main feed with my typical behavior makes a lot of sense, but this may just depend on how people use the app.

yeah same. my problem with the official app layout is that if you haven't pinned a feed, you have to press a "settings" icon (???) to access the list which seems insane to me
