I so wanna add an infamy rating to @graysky.app (num of blocks/mutelist appearances, adjusted for follow count) but would this have negative social consequences. It would be funny but I wouldn’t want to cause excessive drama

feature idea when you get on a mute list a single star appears on your screen like a gta then as you get on more mute lists you can accumulate up to five stars at this point the bluesky team dispatches a tank

I feel like a public reputation/infamy ranking will get made eventually. a lot of sites already use that metric to decide who gets seen on the timeline~ but it would definitely be very dramatic at first.

Note that the below isn't meant to discourage you from trying, trying is good But every action on social media will generate an amount of drama any normal person would consider "excessive"

I think we’re in the “fuck around” stage of BlueSky, I support trying new stuff like this. It might be awful, but it might also be really great. In other words… maybe don’t listen to me.

It would be funny if nothing else. I just wouldn’t want to make people feel bad (since you wouldn’t otherwise know that info)

We’re in our “fuck around era” on bsky. If there was ever a time to experiment this is it.
