do you need to set up your own backend?

Yeah :/ Wouldn’t be too hard - except from the fact that I then need to watch the firehose for notifications, so I can’t just use my current serverless functions setup

you're way overcomplicating just make the app alert randomly through the day if there are no new alerts just show the error 'post more lol' or a koan or something
