I'll admit if I had to pick a trend, shadcn edges it out over Tailwind UI for me, it's got too much of that "weird transition period between Bootstrap flat and present day design" vibe

yeah that’s fair. there are some decisions both of them made which I’m unsure of. TailwindUI definitely looks *more designed*, but not necessarily better

Yooooooo! I love taking them into your project as jsx files. Component libraries with good APIs are so convenient but not being able to extend it for a weird use case the business thinks up is such a pain. I 🩵 U tailwind

Being encouraged to copy (rather than import) the components will not only give us more flexibility but should make upgrades easier. Will be keeping an eye on this.
