wait you get this bug? we’re struggling to repro it. do you have any clues for me?

uhh so steps was 1. Be logged in, add account in settings 2. Paste in code 3. Focus email Was able to do it twice in a row, lemme try again

Ok no so it actually becomes unresponsive the instant you paste it. Cursor keeps flashing but no touch response, including on keyboard. One time it was able to change inputs but was still ultra slow, other time crashed

Typing in a single character also freezes it, so it’s any input, not just paste

my working theory is that the dateinput is somehow the culprit but honestly I have no idea. nothing changed there!!

Oh yeah because it appears when there’s something in the code field. Makes some sort of sense ig

NOPE ITS NOT - changing hosting provider also freezes it Date input is innocent!!

man wtf, it doesnt freeze on mobile web so why here

must be an infinite loop in the textinput. perhaps at the native layer I think there was a react-native-paste-input update recently, could that be the culprit? Did you update it?

we're not using paste-input there tho

ah dang, never mind then. Thought there was a chance you might be using it globally (not at my laptop rn) Hmmmm

Anyway I gotta sleep now lemme know if you crack it

cracked it github.com/bluesky-soci...
