I actually recommend looking for a used Dell UP2715K, or an old or dead 5K iMac to DIY convert into a display they aren't quite as good as the Studio Display, but WAYYYYYYYYYY cheaper; I only paid 350€ for my Dell which is almost criminally good

About the font rendering in Windows: You should check out x.com/dhh/status/1... Dhh's Tweets about it. He's posted a lot about trying to find a way to not make it suck. One solution was to buy an 8K Dell monitor lol

mine IS a bit janky because it has pink discolouration on the edges for whatever reason, but hell, fucking 350€ for 5K so I'll take it still straight-up slaughters any other desktop monitor I've ever owned
