If I try to login I get 404.
If I use an access token I got from a login on bsky.social I get BadJwt.
1 1ok so you need to make requests to your PDS as normal. but when using the bsky.chat lexicons you need to add this proxy header:
'atproto-proxy': 'did:web:api.bsky.chat#bsky_chat'

What's the # part after the did for?
1Picking which service to send to api.bsky.chat/.well-known/...
2I still get MethodNotImplemented when I do this in Python:
requests.get('bsky.social/xrpc/chat.bs...', headers={'Authorization': 'Bearer ' + jwt, 'atproto-proxy': 'did:web:api.bsky.chat#bsky_chat'})
I am on a bsky PDS. I guess I need to run my own PDS as chat is not yet supported on the bsky PDS..
1Try sending the request to your actual PDS (will have a mushroom name) rather than the entryway
1 2Awesome, that worked. Thanks!
1 1How are you determining the correct PDS endpoint to send the query to? I'm facing a similar problem but haven't found that data in the API yet.
2 1Scratch that request, unless you have a means different/better than using plc.directory for it.
It is in the didDoc in a response to a createSessionRequest.

The data is in that response, but that query is only successful if one knows which Network Provider to query, which is the thing I'm trying to discover. It is quite tautological in that sense.
I ultimately figured it out with a two-step process. Code in bsky-core.php if you're interested.

Sure. You need to know an entry point where you can send the createSession to.
My DID is like my phone number. It belongs to me, but I need to configure my current my current provider as entry point.
1My challenge was to discover that entry point. I had to more a step up from the createSessionRequest. Doable, but only with the extra call to plc.directory.
1Awesome...thanks!
1Thanks!
