I mean really, you have millions of inhabited worlds with a near infinite variety of cultures and acceptable behaviors. Jar jar cant be that far out of the norm

besides, the odds that so many different cultures would join together in collective distaste for one particular behavior is exceedingly far fetched it would have to be annoying on levels we can barely comprehend to bring that many disparate cultures together in agreement

Ep. 1 was kinda bad but it had some redeeming qualities (e.g. racing) which at least made it worth watching. Eps. 2 and 3 were pretty decent but nowhere near as good as the OG trilogy.

I saw the pod race in a big theatre in 5.1 surround sound and the seats rumbled beneath us and thought it was the greatest thing ever. Then I saw it on my home TV and it didn’t make any sense and I didn’t understand how this was the same movie. I don’t have a moral for that story. But it’s true.

(By which I mean, all of them were bad movies, with a few good aspects here and there. Mostly score, sound design, and some of the visuals.)

I’ve heard this argument from 30 year olds. My theory is they zoned out for everything but the final saber fight and Ewan McGregor being actively charming

Or are you tying your opinions of them to all the much much better media that ended up surrounding them later on? The amount of heavy lifting Dave Filoni did to repair those movies legacies cannot be understated. That said like 2/3rds of ROTS is good then Anakin kills kids and it never recovers.
