I feel like there's a happy medium between JS (gets verbose for common tasks) and whatever Swift is doing

I remember reading about a project for writing Swift in the browser a while back. whatever happened with that?

Despite using Kotlin a lot, I only tried Kotlin compiled to JS targets briefly but it was one of my favorite programming experiences.
