`sync` is a new package, the Firehose class just wraps around the one from `xrpc-server`, so they're more or less the same

Depends really on what language/framework/library you're using, what it does with the data and what kind of hosting you're running it on - I'm running it on €7-10 VPSes right now. But could be more expensive if you're using some kind of PaaS cloud service
