imho the appview should blackhole invalid refs like that (should be a cheap check), client devs would figure it out soon enough

this one is a whole new one we didn’t even think of. it’s a valid ref, but also includes the entire record of the root post, which has a blob in it, and so subsequent replies copy the entire replyRef and can’t use the blob lol
