In fairness, the thing stays charged for so long that this hasn't been a problem for me in the 2+ years I've been using mine. You just have to remember to let it charge overnight about once every 2 or 3 weeks.

I’m dying on this hill: it’s a fine choice. I personally hate the aesthetic anyway, but they’re clearly committed to it. I don’t think I’ve ever had to use my mouse so bad I couldn’t let it charge for 5 minutes, even if I could theoretically find a longer cord and use mine while it’s charging
