speaking of quality: something I noticed is that the CDN's image compression is EXTREMELY noticeable (especially at lower source resolutions), but if you get the image directly through getBlob, the quality is WAY better (near original):

did you guys know that bluesky stores high res versions of all images you post (pretty much original quality) but chooses to serve bad quality ones through the CDN?

apples, man
huh, they recently stopped forcibly scaling all images so i thought that meant they started giving the blob quality directly. looks to not be the case.

Now can yall PLEASE up the time allowed on videos! I say this for many artists here, to demo a song and only have 60 seconds is ROUGH 😭

Exatamente. Artistas, escritores, futebolistas, organizações de governos, partidos, jornalismo, ciências da natureza, paisagens demandam vídeos maiores, de qualidade e mais caracteres de texto. Todas as outras redes já entenderam isso nos últimos anos.

Auto pause of media (gif, video) on window losing focus would be cool!

what about fixes for iPhone uploads? i still get size or just timeout errors for videos under 1 minute. is that because of 4k 60 fps?
