I try and avoid prescriptivism but in this case I have a humble request for everyone It’s Bluesky, not BlueSky

Bluesky just doesn't look right, even if it is. 😉 It looks like a foreign word that should be pronounced "blues-key", and not a variation of the English phrase "blue sky". 😉 That said, I'll start spelling it "Bluesky", because names should be spelled and pronounced however the owner prefers. 🙂

i assumed that was implied! (definitely very weird to hear "Blue Sky" in reporter-voice, like two separate words, instead of blooski)

I agree with you that we should use it as it’s used in official docs but I my brain alwayss wants to CamelCase. When it’s all lowercase, I want to say Blooskee 🤜🤛

Fine. Can we also settle on the term skyline for the endless list of posts?

take it into your own hands and turn off capital letters for the entire app

It's "try to," not "try and." I don't try to avoid prescriptivism.

It's saved in my dictionary as BlueSky because the first time I used it was with a # and camel case helps screen readers for visually impaired people. If a # is all lower case it plays havoc. Capitalising each letter makes sure people with accessibility needs understand what it's meant to say. Sorry

This is like when the .gif guy tried to correct people If this app had animated replies, I would be posting Bugs Bunny saying “no”

Just thankful Justin Timberlake got y'all to drop "The" from The Blue Sky. Bluesky. It's cleaner.

If true, then you'd pronounce it in American English as: BLOO-SKEE or BLEW-SKI Which I don't think is the intent by anyone? It's: Blue Sky
