expo-dynamic-app-icon was the closest, but was a few major versions behind and had some critical bugs! I’ve also gone and added some features like the ability to reset the icon, and different images for iOS or Android

I am kinda scared of the Android code tho, it’s likely not perfect. Help appreciated!

Nice! I looked at the code on iOS, I think you should make those functions async and run them on the main queue as they use UIKit APIs

Love this! We swap out icons on dev vs production, but it's a bit of a headache. Would be nice to have a tidy library solution for it.
