its funny i stopped caring about magsafe after a while and realized that i prefer the flexibility of being able to plug usb-c in on both sides of the computer so i just... use usb-c everywhere now
oh for sure, it's great that you can do both. but on my old laptop with 2!! usbc and nothing else, I often had to choose between charging, my monitor, or doing dev work on a device
ahh yeah.
also everything i have that i use daily is usb-c now so it makes even more sense to have as many usb-c chargers lying around the house as possible any nothing else
Feb. 28 National boycott of ALL BUSINESSES needs to happen, especially if a company like Tesla PAID ZERO FEDERAL TAXES IN 2022 AND 2024 after getting billions in profits!! Wake up America!!
Do you connect to external monitors at all? I find my MBP has flickering problems when I connect via HDMI or USB->DisplayPort cables. It's driving me crazy! According to Reddit, other people have similar issues too. 😔
Argh; infuriating! If anyone has any advice on how to fix, please help!! 🙏
I think my sibs had this problem and fixed it by using a usb c lightning cable and hdmi adaptor instead of a basic usb c cable. They’re pricier (do not get apples or was like 60! You can probably find a good quality anker or belkin one for half that).
Only 3 usb c ports on my current macbook and one is perma taken up by a yubikey 😢 can't wait to get an upgrade and have magsafe as charging again instead of taking another port
