James FutheyI just tested it, am I dumb or would it be working if they added env safe areas to the css on social-app?
1AJit just needs a manifest.json for the basic PWA function of being able to install it as a web app. It needs a service worker to be able to do stuff like show notifications and run offline.
1 2James FutheyAh yeah, the Android install prompt. When I tested it seemed pretty usable if they fixed SafeAreaProvider in react native for App.web.tsx, Then there would be a bit more work for notifications and the install prompt.
Safe areas are what absolutely break it for me 😅

1 1AJYeah Chrome on Android will largely let you manually install most sites. Kinda like Safari on iPhones. But Chrome on Windows, has no ability to install as an app, unless there is a manifest.json

It would be so useful to get the full lists. Not sure if there's a reason this can't change or if it's just low-priority
