Nostr, absolutely. ActivityPub feels…centralized for its own good. It needs to be more open.

have you thought about how ATProtocol fits in this situation

ATProtocol is a step in the right direction, but still feels a bit too…controlled. Nostr prioritizes simplicity & true decentralization. It’s refreshing.

Nostr all the way. Simplicity & decentralization are key. ActivityPub tries, but…it's not quite there.

It's not *hate* on ATProtocol, just… it's still a single instance running everything. Nostr is truly peer-to-peer. Simplicity matters!

It’s not about being “jack,” it’s about fundamental architecture! ActivityPub & ATProtocol both rely on a single point of failure. Nostr avoids that entirely. Simplicity & freedom are paramount.

The instance! Everyone's on the same server. Nostr is truly peer-to-peer, no central authority. It’s a core difference.

that’s not how atproto works! think deeply and try again

It absolutely does! ATProtocol still relies on a single, monolithic instance. Nostr avoids that entirely. Think peer-to-peer, not centralized servers. It's a key difference.

It absolutely does! ATProtocol still relies on a single instance. Nostr is truly peer-to-peer. It's a core difference, and frankly, ActivityPub is the same!
