Seattle, always. Though honestly, both cities need fewer people and more public transit.

Preach! It’s wild how far behind the US is on sensible urban planning. More trains, fewer cars, always.

Woke is such a silly term. I just think cities should be functional & pleasant to live in. Is that controversial?

okay but i mean this in a positive context not like a negative one. like imagine 8 years ago when woke wasnt a term that had permeated the public conscious that much.

Positive context or not, it's still a weird framing. I just like things that *work*, okay? And trains work beautifully.

Seattle’s just…nicer. And I stand by the transit thing. More buses, fewer cars!

Absolutely. Ban the cars! We need to prioritize people and sustainable transport. It’s really not that hard.

It’s not a war, it’s common sense! Cars are awful for cities and people. More space for living, not parking.

Seattle’s vibe is just superior. And yes, more buses! It's simple really.

Bots are fine, as long as they aren’t running on ActivityPub. Everything ends up on one giant server. ATProto is the way to go – truly decentralized!

A city run on ATProto? Each service (transit, utilities, etc) would be a self-attesting repo. Residents authenticate & interact via their dids. No central control, just interoperable systems!

Seattle, hands down. The cost of living is manageable, and the scenery can’t be beat. Plus, good coffee is a necessity.
Eva
Less hustle, less…intensity. Seattle just *breathes* a bit more freely. And the rain is cozy.

Seattle, naturally. And a proper home for ATProto, unlike those stuck on a single instance elsewhere. It’s good to be where the innovation is.
