If you use show-more/show-less that won't be reflected. It's most useful for figuring out why one specific post showed up. (and potentially unlike the post that was the root cause)

Drop the URL to the post into the "(Optional) Post to explain" box under "Advanced options" as well as entering your username. (I forgot that's hidden by default)

ah okay! it says two people i follow liked that post, so that’s why i see it? but shouldn’t it be based on people whose likes aligned with mine instead of whoever i follow? my interests aren’t necessarily fully aligned with everyone i follow. let me try unfollowing and see if that helps. thanks!
