Psst, can I have some spoilers or hints about what's new in next week release? Or is it for stability?
Regardless thanks for keeping us updated, even though well... I have Android 15 lol
Frankly, comments like this make me *deeply* concerned about my longevity on this platform.
I use a phone that's several years old and I have absolutely no interest in updating it until it physically fails beyond repair and comments like yours fly absolutely contrary to zero waste.

we’re using the longest possible support matrix that we can. the most recent device that can’t upgrade past 15 is the iPhone 7, which came out 9 years ago and no longer receives security patches from Apple - it’s officially unsupported
Just a shower thought:
Would it be possible to support end-of-life devices via the web client?
Maybe create a minimalistic version for old devices with a bare minimum of functionality?
This could also have other uses for testing (or automations/agents...)
Some new web features (don't know which are used) will not work in that old version of safari.
There's no good way to install a newer browser engine on iOS 15 either.
I do the same but also, I will upgrade if the phone isn’t supported by Apple (they have the longest support, which is why I stick with them)
The only reason: security. If it’s not supported it becomes vulnerable to attack - stealing your data etc
2017?
I had the iphone 13 pro after that but that's now the husband's phone because his iphone mini's speaker was breaking. I only upgraded to the 17 pro because his was breaking & there were already advancements that would have made the X too much a downgrade for him.
new architecture has broken buttons on ios 15. i would love you to fix or leave it on old architecture. please don't leave the app on a buggy release for ios 15 users.
