Luna Max itself makes OpenAI's sub an infinitely better deal than the Anthropic one. It's a cheap and fast workhorse for the majority of work, and Anthropic doesn't have a comparable model (unless they update Haiku in the future).

before Luna price cut? well, it was the price for tasks that you know will require Luna max. with that cut, tho, I don't really see use to it. anyhow I don't feel like paying for AI at all given that it storms github, sucks up all ram and gpus, etc. so qwen is my beloved... once I can afford a gpu

did you read the Anthropic open letter? seeing them gargle Trump's and Vance's nuts with great enthusiasm helped me overcome my previous issues with OpenAI now that I'm in the blissful state of "they all really suck" I don't feel the need to endorse certain companies by voting with my dollars
