advaithI'm pretty sure dynamically sized list virtualization is impossible to do well on web. gl

JauntyWunderKindThis is going to ruin the most important search operation I rely on every day.
1 2JauntyWunderKindI can't search what I've seen lately by link titles or domains. I can't search my history by what a recommender just showed me. I constantly am trying to refind things I've seen in the last week or two, and loading a ton of timeline is the only way I have to do that and this makes that impossible.
2 1 4Samuelallegedly it's possible to keep ctrl+f working via the `beforematch` api, i'll see if i can get it working

Element: beforematch event - Web APIs | MDN
An element receives a beforematch event when it is in the hidden until found state and the browser is about to reveal its content because the user has found the content through the "find in page" feat...

Samueldone, easy peasy
1 2JauntyWunderKindAll right!! π
What pieces of content work here? Author, post content, link domain, link content, recommender titiles all?
Jens RΓΈmerTIL, nice!
Banda BassottiThank you for catching this before it got released.
That would have bugged me until it got fixed.

ππππππππ ππππthere's a very serious bug entering alt text after the latest update, Samuel
ππππππππ ππππ@pogue.omg.lolΒ· 19 Octwe're going to have to be patient with people who don't (or literally can't) put in alt text after the latest update. it's got a bug where it resets the position of the cursor so you're literally typing the text in backwards.
