real question: are there any relics claiming to be one of Jesus’s works from his carpentry days. like a chair or something
“yeah this table is an original Jesus”
please let me know if you run into any incompatibility issues! it tries to round-trip each format to markdown and back, so if you have one that fails I'll add it to the test suite
okay, introducing standard.horse! an editor for simple @standard.site publications
if you've hand-rolled your standard.site blog, this provides a simple markdown editor and publication management interface
this is the result of me taking Opus 4.8 for a test drive. conclusion: pretty good!
currently it only supports markpub.at, but I'd like to support more richtext formats in future. and maybe even make my own one?
future things I may or may not do
- allow setting up a publication from scratch. currently it assumes a preexisting format
- more richtext formats!
- I lowkey wanna make my own one
- more standard.site fields like contributors, bskyPostRef
- more publish-y features like previewing the bsky embed
man it’s so cool. big shout out to the team for this one, they really delivered something special here.
I contributed a little to the initial concept but other than that haven’t been involved at all - it’s quite something to see it in action!
hey @pnpm.io! question: is there an easy way to validate, given two pairs of package.json+lockfiles, that the second lockfile is purely a result of the changes in the package.json?
we have CI that tries to check this to ensure incoming PRs aren’t tampering with the lockfile but it’s quite messy
so many people view media not through the lens of “is this good” but “would this make an interesting plot summary on wikipedia” — or worse, “would this provide ‘worldbuilding’ fodder for my expansive fan wiki”
