Love this feed switch mechanism on @skeetsapp.com - considered going with this myself, and now I’m thinking maybe I should’ve done!

Context menu coming from the screen header title with a list of feeds

To be fair I prefer the way it is now because it's easier to access, it's closer to my thumb and by changing to the header it'll be quite a bit harder

Yeah that’s definitely a point in favour of having it at the bottom

Yeah, I just thought the same thing… honestly, tabs at the top that you can slide at any point on the screen, like in the official app >> anything else

Tabs still have a problem, if you have too many tabs you'll have to scroll on them directly and that's taking your thumb too high on the screen Unless you want to scroll horizontally many times in the timeline itself (I really like the Feeds floating button)

Tabs (or horizontal menus in general) are not really ideal from an accessibility POV since the screenreader cannot 'skip' the horizontal layout. So when 'swiping' through the horizontal tabs the screenreader has to go through all of them until it can access the content underneath.

Interesting, never thought of that. Totally makes sense though

I also really like that floating button, it’s honestly one of the main reasons I use Graysky, I hate nearly dropping my phone when I use it on the go cause there’s tabs at the top.
