The mention doesn’t work but I can search and get to the profile just fine. It’s making the same request though…

for the record, i had to get the real did from a txt lookup on _atproto.bsky.app, can't get it any other way lol

The plot thinkens. I can only find the correct profile with skywalker, not with the official app. Skywalker retrieves profiles of all users I follow on login. I follow the official account. My search function resolves the query locally.

Just rejected my hypothesis. Logging in with an account that does not follow, I still can find it. I recall that the getProfile request takes a handle or did. With the handle is works perhaps. For a mention the handle is first resolved to a did.

Not sure. Cannot look at my logs right now. The weird thing is that through my search in skywalker I do find the proper profile. But through the typeahead search, when typing a mention I get the invalid mention. I think you are right and handle resolution goes wrong.
