oh fun, query might have been cached on my phone. can't get to the account either way now :)

oh interesting...the DID for the bsky.app account is did:plc:z72i7hdynmk6r22z27h6tvur but its resolving to did:plc:5xjkiyxarkpmtn5ux7efvnxs

for the record, i had to get the real did from a txt lookup on _atproto.bsky.app, can't get it any other way lol

The plot thinkens. I can only find the correct profile with skywalker, not with the official app. Skywalker retrieves profiles of all users I follow on login. I follow the official account. My search function resolves the query locally.

Just rejected my hypothesis. Logging in with an account that does not follow, I still can find it. I recall that the getProfile request takes a handle or did. With the handle is works perhaps. For a mention the handle is first resolved to a did.
