I'm gonna make a prediction because why not: It's gonna take at least 12 months for "mainnet" federation to be fully enabled. (feel free to quote-dunk on me if it happens sooner, lol)

Yeah, and to clarify "fully enabled" I meant like, no temporary restrictions on what 3rd party PDSes can do etc. (because iiuc they're planning on doing some sort of controlled rollout at first)
