I’m trying to figure out what would be cool to make for the Vision Pro, and thus far my best idea has been “air traffic control simulator”

TimConsidering I got hooked on a 2D tablet version for months I would emphatically agree it would be fun and I look forward to playing it on a used VP in 2029

Seriously though yea that would be cool. Do the apps have access to the entire 360deg field of view?
1 2SamuelYes and no - you have zero access to the camera data, but you can make “immersive spaces” which can take up as much FoV as you want
1 3haileyWait you can't...idk what the word is...but you can't interact with anything in the real world environment? That's kind of a shame, suppose it's a privacy thing.
2 3Samuelyou can place stuff on surfaces I think? so you might get 3D data in some form, but no no access to the camera feeds (which is good imo)
has a very strange consequence of meaning it has complete authority over lighting and textures in unity games (because the light comes from the environment)
