I’m trying to figure out what would be cool to make for the Vision Pro, and thus far my best idea has been “air traffic control simulator” Am I crazy in thinking that would be fun

Yes and no - you have zero access to the camera data, but you can make “immersive spaces” which can take up as much FoV as you want

Wait you can't...idk what the word is...but you can't interact with anything in the real world environment? That's kind of a shame, suppose it's a privacy thing.

you can place stuff on surfaces I think? so you might get 3D data in some form, but no no access to the camera feeds (which is good imo) has a very strange consequence of meaning it has complete authority over lighting and textures in unity games (because the light comes from the environment)
