Helen GilbertMight be a short term solution but not really viable long term is it? Look at the fake MP accounts that joined yesterday. Who is going to bother buying & setting up a domain if they don't actually need one & what is to stop an impersonator from doing that anyway? A visible verified flag is needed.

Helen GilbertAgree but once you start verifying, then at least users would know they were legitimate and would be more sceptical about ones without. How can the media pick up comments from "famous" or influential people on here instead of X if they are not sure of authenticity?
