if I may nitpick the current impl (testing on desktop firefox), with autoplay disabled, the volume icon shows as muted but unmutes when play is pressed. if I want to mute a video before playing it, I have to click the volume icon twice - the first "unmutes" it (a nop), and the second mutes for real

oh whoops, I guess that’s a regression. didn’t test super thoroughly with autoplay off.

it was actually the same before the update heh I just didn't bother reporting it because I assumed a million others did already lol
