i haven't seen any, but i think this is worthwhile project. someone please tackle so we can standardize it into stansite and maybe even make it a part of the future-infra we (specifically *i*) want

you know what… it would almost be best if it took the form of a browser extension that reads the link meta tags, so it works across everyone’s blogs

was thinking about this ! But tricky about where to put it as we don't want I think to inject user labels on to publishers sites, could do it in the reader, or perhaps an extension?

yeah, I think both?! should come as a standard (heh) feature in any self-respecting reader, and then also a browser extension which works across anyone’s blog using the link meta tags

I think it should be the users choice as to what labelers they have. And those labels should show up on authors posts without their consent That is after all what a labeler is! Just like on here

oh totally, you should never be surfacing arbitrary labels. I was thinking as a user preference when logged in
