we’ve been working really hard on this! please let us know what you think

we're testing a new beta version of the Notifications tab! it has new tabs to help you notice priority notifications, and it uses new grouping logic to reduce noise (e.g. when one person likes a bunch of your posts). disclaimer: it's a beta, not a final version. send us your feedback! :)

is it only on web?

oh it just changed over in app

I want to kill it everywhere sorry. it’s so ugly and no other app has it

Aren't you an iOS user? It's way less common over there because there's a system-wide "go to top" action. I'm mostly neutral on the in-app button itself.

for notifications especially, you can press the tab button itself to go back to top. I’m more sympathetic to the need for it on other pages
