amusingly i have hls playback working totally fine in firefox right now. something tells me you have a codec problem.

that or i really need to make my hls player usable outside of the specific context of my vodjam entry bc it's ACTUALLY useful for Firefox compat lol

The most irritating thing of all is Firefox Mobile supports PWAs, but after the fall of FirefoxOS many years ago, they refuse to add it to desktop. Firefox Mobile also has this collections thing... which *does not* sync to desktop. Like... huh???

It's always funny to me that for a brief while, even during IE11, Trident was the only actual standards compliant rendering engine that also had features nobody else had.
